I suggest the Inter Press Service <www.ips.org> where Gareth Porter regularly posts; also New America Media <www.newamericamedia.org>; Agence Global <rights@agenceglobal.com>, Khouri's own service is also good; as is Jim Lobe's blog, Lobelog <http://www.lobelog.com/>. The Real News <http://therealnews.com/t2/> carries excellent video interview coverage of Iran, Consortium News <http://consortiumnews.com/> is an excellent investigative reporting site with occasional excellent pieces on Iran.
Among bloggers, the best remain Thomas E. Wark (former NY Times) http://bordellopianist.
<http://www.huffingtonpost.com/soraya-sepahpourulrich/> and myself, William Beeman "Culture and International Affairs" <www.wbeeman.com>. Nima Shirazi's "Wide Asleep in America" is up to date and critical of the mainstream press <http://www.wideasleepinamerica.com/>
Flynt and Hillary Mann Leverett are now posting at <GoingtoTehran.com>. Their older blog postings are at <http://www.raceforiran.com/the-race-for-iran-a-manifesto>,
It is impossible to use standard media outlets to get reasonable coverage on Iran. One must go to these smaller web-based outlets, all of which are, in my opinion, reliable. I am sure I have missed a few good outlets, but perhaps others will contribute.
